Baseline Data Systems is located in Torrance, California, just 20 miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles. We have developed award winning software products and services for over 15 years. Our flagship Accelerator product line has won numerous industry awards and has sold more than 500,000 copies worldwide.
The company had its first genesis in 1983, when Dr. Ralph Brackert and Mr. Chris Furgis met at the graduate dorms at UCLA. Dr. Brackert was working on his Ph.D in Electrical Engineering and Mr. Furgis was attending the UCLA Graduate School of Management. They frequently discussed starting a business that took advantage of their business and technical educations.
After UCLA they stayed in touch, a few years later they anticipated the explosion of Windows. They took advantage of their insight and Office Accelerator, their flagship product, was born.
